Terms of use

Ontario Water Damage Directory is an independent directory of water damage restoration service businesses in Ontario, published by Ontario Water Damage Directory. Listings and scores are derived from publicly available review data under a fixed, published rubric; the full method is set out on our ranking method page. By using the site you accept the terms below.

What listings and scores mean

Listings and scores are information, not an endorsement or a recommendation. Business details can change faster than any directory updates, so confirm the specifics (availability, pricing, credentials, insurance) directly with a business before engaging it. We work to keep the data accurate but do not guarantee it is complete, current, or error-free.

Enquiries and referral fees

We may pass your enquiry to a listed business or a partner, and we may be paid a referral fee when that happens. Referral fees have no effect on scores or rankings, which come from the published rubric applied to public review data and cannot be bought or adjusted.

Listing corrections and removals

Businesses listed here can request corrections, dispute a listing or score, or ask to be removed. The listing policy explains how each request works and what to include.

Using the site

The site is for finding and contacting water damage restoration service businesses. Do not scrape or bulk-copy the compiled content, send fake or misleading form submissions, attempt to disrupt how the site runs, or use it for anything unlawful.

Content ownership

Ontario Water Damage Directory owns the compilation: the editorial text, scores, summaries, and the way the directory is assembled and presented. Source reviews stay with their authors on the platforms they were written on, and business names and marks remain the property of the businesses themselves.

Liability

Ontario Water Damage Directory provides the site as-is and, so far as the law permits, is not responsible for losses that follow from using it, relying on it, or hiring a business found through it. When you engage a listed business, that relationship is directly between you and the business. These terms do not exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Which law applies

The laws of Canada govern these terms. Disputes arising from them are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Canada.

Changes to these terms

The published version of this page, with its date, is the current version of these terms; we may revise it from time to time, and continued use of the site counts as acceptance. For questions, reach us at the publisher contact details on the about page.
