Twelve five-star reviews praise the team's professionalism, mold removal work, and swift emergency response across Hamilton and nearby regions. One scathing review documents a flood renovation that left gaps in flooring, damaged baseboards, and a basement unusable for over a year, plus alleged threats from the owner. The complaint remains unresolved.

Heavy complaints about delays, communication failure, and staff professionalism dominate recent feedback; a few older reviews praise speed and politeness, but the weight of evidence points to systemic issues with scheduling, customer contact, and job completion. Multiple reviewers report months of waiting, broken promises on follow-ups, and lost or damaged items, with one customer citing nearly $10,000 in losses.

Absolute's work quality divides reviewers sharply. When staff engage directly on restoration jobs-flood response, mould remediation, water damage-they often earn praise for attentiveness and organization; technicians like Besi receive specific credit for careful, detailed work and communication. Yet this praise is overwhelmed by sustained complaints about reckless driving by company vehicle operators, a problem multiple reviewers say has persisted for nine years. Critical concerns emerge around restoration outcomes too. One condo project receiving $30,000 in insurance funding resulted in separating vinyl flooring and incomplete drywall repair; the project manager dismissed concerns and stopped responding after the third failed attempt. The split rating (53% five-star, 41% one/two-star) and volume of safety-focused criticism suggest internal consistency issues and possible culture misalignment between field crews.

All 11 reviews are five-star. All six reviews are five-star. Reviewers consistently praise honest assessments that avoid unnecessary costs: one technician identified a broken sump pump rather than recommend pricey repairs, and another traced a basement leak to a drain rather than to the foundation. Staff described as polite, professional, and thorough in explaining the work and solutions.

Most recent work is praised for quick turnaround and skilled diagnosis, though older projects saw repeated no-shows and delays stretching over a year. Staff knowledge stands out, but communication gaps and follow-up remain complaints.

Five recent one-star reviews report serious issues: delayed follow-up from staff, billing disputes, subcontractor damage to property and possessions, and conflicts with insurance company. Older five-star reviews praise quick response and quality work, but the weight of recent complaints about honesty and accountability creates substantial concern. Service quality appears inconsistent across branches and hinges on which technician shows up.

Five-star reviewers praise the Contents team as professional, efficient, and communicative during possession recovery and packing. One reviewer named Paul McBlain specifically for reliable timelines and partnership. One-star complaints centre on three patterns: fleet drivers described as aggressive and dangerous on roads (multiple incidents documented with van numbers and license plates), incomplete restoration work (one job unfinished after a year), and belongings returned damaged or missing with only $300 offered against $19,000 in insurance billing. Site cleanup and accountability remain unresolved issues across multiple reviews.

One reviewer praised the team for removing attic mold quickly before roof work, finding the moisture source (a poorly installed bathroom vent), and working smoothly throughout. Review evidence is limited.

Eight of nine reviews rate T4TD five stars. Emergency response arrives within hours and staff explain the process clearly, explain costs upfront, and follow up the next day to check dryness levels. The team handles major water events and full home restoration with care, though repair quotes for structural damage can exceed the initial flood cleanup cost.
